35 year old David Bueche an American tourist was shot in a robbery in Sandton Johannesburg on Wednesday night.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Leon Engelbrecht was reported as saying “the man was walking in Northway Street from the Guatrain station to a backpackers lodge, where he was assaulted, shot and robbed by four men in an unknown vehicle”.
The American tourist was taken to Sunning hill Clinic and is reported to be in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
