A MYCiTi bus driver in Cape Town was trapped at 5:35 in his bus for two hours this morning, after a BMW smashed into it and sent it careering into a pillar.
The accident happened at the Wesbank House building on the corner of Riebeeck and Long streets.
Rescue workers spent two hours trying to free the driver from behind the wheel of his bus.
According to paramedics, the BMW approached at a high speed from, Van Riebeeck road and apparently skipped the red robot, and hitting the bus.
