The Democratic Alliance said it is
saddened by the death of the six people at the Eskom Ingula Pumped Storage
construction site on Thursday.
It is believed that a platform that the
workers were busy working on collapsed. About 15 people were reported to have
been working at the site at the time of the accident.
Eskom is conducting an investigation
into the accident.
DA MP of Public Enterprises Natasha
Michael said we will be asking for a full inquiry to be
done to what caused this tragic loss of life,” Michael added.
