The police are holding discussions with their counterparts in Cyprus about the possible presence of George Smith,
the man who allegedly confessed to killing strip club owner Lolly Jackson.
Police Colonel Eugene Opperman says they have already discussions with police there.
Smith has been red flagged at airports and with Interpol.
