A 31-year-old man arrested for drugs at King Shaka Airport

A 31-year-old man is today appearing in court for charges of dealing in drugs. 

The man was arrested by the hawks and custom officials at the King Shaka Airport on Monday after he arrived on a flight from Brazil. 

Police have estimated the drugs to be worth R600 000. Police Spokesperson Thulani Zwane said members waited for the flight and when the suspect arrived he was identified and he was arrested.

"The members searched his suitcase and found that he was in possession of two parcels containing of cocaine” Zwane added.
