An accident leaves two people critically injured

A man was this morning involved in an accident on the N14 in Muldersdrift west of Johannesburg which left him critically injured. 

The man was knocked over by a vehicle while he was trying to cross the road.

ER24 Spokesperson Luyanda Majija said the man suffered serious head trauma.  He was stabilised on the scene and taken to hospital for further treatment.

Majija added that the driver of the vehcile suffered moderate injuries.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
