A man was killed yesterday after he was hit by a car on the N14 near Beyers Naude in Randburg.
The cause of the accident will
remain the subject of a police investigation.

Meiring said Er24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene a
found the patient lying in the fast lane of the road. The car had parked a few
meters away on the side of the road.
Meiring said on assessment,
paramedics found that the patient had sustained multiple fatal injuries.
Nothing more could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on scene.
Meiring said the driver of the
vehicle fortunately did not sustain any injuries, local authorities were on
scene for further investigations.
