The Pan Africanist Congress has strongly condemned the killing of a hawker by the Tshwane Metro Police.

It is alleged that the hawker was shot dead when he refused to hand over his stock to the Metro Police last week.

PAC`s Sbusiso Xaba said the PAC is calling for immediate suspension and arrest of officers involved. Our City cannot condone its fascist behaviour by its police officer, which is indicative of gangsters in uniform.

Xaba further said the Metro Mafia has been demanding protection fee from street vendors. This corruption is encouraged by the political desire by the ANC to destroy Entrepreneurship among African people in favour of government handouts.

The victims was buried this weekend in Giyani, Limpopo.
