Right2Know has continued to call for a comprehensive interrogation into the causes of police violence as well as the root causes of service delivery protest.

This as the country has been hit by a spate of service delivery protests which have resulted in four people being killed allegedly by police.

Right2Know’s Dale Mckinley said it is about time that political parties take a stand on the brutal policing of protest.

Mckinley said the issues of the secrecy bill and the power of the intelligence services are linked to together; you can not deal with other without looking at the other.

He added that the series of service delivery protests is a sign of a crisis.
