Netcare911 paramedics responded to an
accident scene last night after a vehicle crashed into a tree, leaving four
people dead and one person in a critical condition along the Watson highway.
Netcare spokesperson Chris Botha said, “Last
night paramedics raced out to an accident on Watson highway near Crawford College
“Tragically four of them died on the scene,
one man was in a criticial condition, He was stabilised, transported through to
hospital.” said Botha
“Although gone to hospital, he died at the
hospital during the night, bringing the death toll of this accident to five.”
Botha added
Exact details to the cause of the cause of
the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
