The National Prosecuting Authority has made its decision on tormented National Police Commissioner Jackie Selebi, but its stil unknown what has been decided.
NPA spokesperson Tlali Tlali says in a statement that Mokotedi Mpshe the acting National Director of Public Prosecutions has made a decision on whether Selebi will be prosecuted after a panel was set up to re-examine the case against Selebi.
“After studying the report, advocate Mpshe has made a decision on the matter, the acting NDPP prepared and submitted a report regarding his decision to the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development at the conclusion of the review process,” says Tlali.
It’s not known when the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Brigitte Mabandla will reply to the report submitted by advocate Mpshe as she is attending the ANC 52nd National Conference in Polokwane
