Solidarity-ANC elective conference should deal with government issues

Trade union Solidarity today emphasised that the African National Congress, at its coming election conference in Mangaung, should carefully and cautiously deal with issues of government.

Solidarity said issues such as interference in the mining industry; the independence of the judiciary as well as the process of land reform should top the agenda.

Solidarity’s Johan Kruger said nationalization of the mining industry will not benefit the ordinary citizen.

Kruger adds that the national develop plan regarding land reform, in villages only land reform committees should deal with it.
