South Africans urged to fight poverty

Over the weekend President Jacob Zuma urged the country to embrace the values of Ubuntu.

This follows the celebration of Reconciliation Day, on Sunday.

Zuma added that the country has done well in promoting unity and reconciliation.

In a statement presidency spokesperson Mac Maharaj said the country needs to fight poverty and xenophobia amongst other things.
