A Durban police officer who killed a robber outside a fast food franchise was arrested for murder on Wednesday.

Independent Complaints Directorate spokesperson Moses Dlamini said the officer also faces a charge of defeating the ends of justice, and has appeared in the Pinetown Magistrates Court.
