On the 23rd of August, Games Global in collaboration with Mi-Desk handed over 140 Mi-Desks, aimed at transforming the educational experience for children in South Africa. This handover took place at Zimasa Community School a local primary school in Kwa Langa.

Mi-Desk is an
innovative school bag that converts into a desk and equipped with a solar light
and USB charging portal.
Principal of Zimasa
Community School, Fezile Mguqulwa, appreciated the initiative. His belief is
that the project is a preparation for a better future.
“My belief is that when
you start from grade R or 1, the impact is much more significant. We are
preparing for a better future. We are preparing children who will be able to
take the country and take it forward irrespective of where they come from” said
Mguqulwa.
The aim of the
initiative is not just to influence students but also the community at large.
