The 5 November marks National Children's day in South Africa.
Adults South Africans should take the opputuniy of this day ‘to reflect on what they can actively do to improve the lives of our children’ according to the Independent Democrats spokesperson on social development Izak Jenner.
“This means we should listen to our children, improve communication with them and do our very best to have a positive impact in their lives, with the end goal being to provide a better quality of childhood than we ourselves had before freedom.
“We see childrens day as an opportunity to also lobby support to free our kids from the abuse they are facing from HIV/AIDS and from the violent crimes against them,” says Jenner.
