The African National Congress has refused to comment to media reports claiming that President Jacob Zuma had more benefactors than previously thought to cover his debts and expenses.

ANC Spokesperson Keith Khoza said this is a private matter, which does not involve the ANC as an organisation.

The report also claim that Zuma had received about R1 million from the Former President Nelson Mandela to settle his debt.

The Democratic Alliance has called for the President to go on leave until all allegations against him have been cleared.

Khoza adds that the report has nothing to do with the public office and as the ANC they will not discuss it with Zuma.
