explains that this initiative will enable the DTI to empower vulnerable omen
who are exposed to abuse and it will target all provinces especially depressed
rural areas.
Madupe adds that the DTI plans to play a
more active role in developing initiatives to ensure abused women are empowered
and are able to participate meaningfully in the economy.
The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry
MS Elizabeth Thabethe on Wednesday launched the DTI initiative to extend the 16
days of Activism to 365 Days of no Violence against women and children.
