The Democratic Alliance has raised serious concerns regarding the leadership at the Tshwane University of Technology.

Jonny Molefe was appointed as vice chancellor over the weekend.

The DA’s Junita Kloppers-Lourens says Molefe is not suitable for the position because he has a fraudulent doctorate obtained from a false university.

Kloppers-Lourens says a vice chancellor should be someone who is responsible, and Molefe can hardly manage his own finances.

She says the university is in serious need of responsible, credible and accountable leadership.
