WC govt visit paves the way for business partnership with Angola

The Western Cape government has joined forces with Angola to establish trade partnership.

Premier Helen Zille, MEC of Economic Opportunities Alan Winde and business counterparts went to Angola this week of which Premier Zille said the two day visit was successful as it was a great willingness to explore investment opportunities between the regions.

Spokesperson for Zille, Michael Mpofu said the purpose was intentionally to explore investment opportunities for both the Western Cape and Angola and how both regions can work together to collaborate to increase investment on both ends, but ultimately to create jobs.

Mpofu said while Premier Helen Zille and Minister Winde came back from Angola a delegation of 29 people lead by Wesgro, business people all said behind to explore some opportunities and to get something copied on paper.
