The Western Cape MEC of Human
Settlements, Bonginkosi Madikizela, along with Brian Maholo, the CEO of the
Social Housing Regulatory Authority have signed an agreement that will
guarantee that funds will be available for approved social housing projects.
The funds are expected to be around
R64 million for 2013/14.
Bonginkosi Madikizela said the
agreement between his department and SHRA strengthens and already existing
relationship.
Madikizela adds that this relationship will see more projects being initiated.
