Western Cape police told IOL that a taxi owner was shot dead at his home in Northpine, in Kraaifontein on Saturday night.
Captain Elliot Sinyangana said John Eiman aged 52, was standing outside his garage when someone shot him three times.
The suspect sped off in a blue Citi Golf, but no arrests have been.
