A woman is wanted by Durbanville Police on a charge of fraud. 26-year-old Anita Nontsikelelo, who worked as a teller at a financial institution in Durbanville last year, went missing with a large sum of money.

“Nontsikelelo worked at a financial institution in Wellington Road, Durbanville during 2008 as a teller and committed fraud by taking cash totalling R48 000-00 over a period of time. When she realised that her employer is doing audits, she left, failing to return to her place of employment,” said Durbanville Police Sergeant Bernice Laäs-Bezuidenhout.

Police have issued a warrant for her arrest and are requesting assistance from the public in tracking her down. Anyone with information can contact the investigating officer, Constable Enver Josephs at SAPS Durbanville on (021) 970 5600 / 084 622 4014, or Crime Stop can be contacted on 0860010111.
