Goodwood police are investigating a murder case after the body of a 38 year old woman was found in her flat yesterday.
The deceased was lying in her bedroom, face down in a pool of blood with a wound to the head.
A second woman was found tied up, but was unharmed.
Police spokesperson Inspector Wayne Theunis says the cause of the death can’t be determined now, because of the amount of blood.
Police say two men were seen entering the flat.
“One entered the scene with a firearm and attacked the deceased, and then later a second suspect came in, demanding cash,” he said.
It is alleged that the suspects fled the scene with R1050.00 in cash.
Police are appealing to the eyewitnesses to contact 079 894 1277.
