Five men arrested for having sex in public

Five men have been arrested for having sex in public toilets in Table View Beachfront.

Vice Squad spokesperson Neil Arendse says they received a tip off from the community that sexual acts were occurring in public open spaces.

“During a one hour period, fifteen males visited specific public toilets and some remained inside for an extended period of time. Having monitored the location, the Vice Squad searched the public toilets the following evening.

“Four males were found inside the toilets engaging in sexual acts with one another. The four men were arrested on charges of public indecency and were fined for having sexual intercourse in a public place. A fifth male was arrested for public indecency. We will continue monitoring this location as it seems to be a hotspot for indecent acts,” said Neil Arendse.

Arendse added that the fifth man that was arrested was a farmer who was visiting the city and out of the men that were arrested all of them were married but with not with other men and they have children.
