Seven people were injured when the taxi they were travelling in overturned on the N3 freeway, near the Hammersdale on-ramp in Durban yesterday.
ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks says on arrival of paramedics, they found the taxi lying on its side in the middle of the freeway. It’s believed that a mechanical problem caused the driver to lose control.
Two passengers sustained serious injuries .
The other five people, including the driver, sustained minor to moderate injuries.
All patients were hospitalised.
