Two patrons were injured after a man randomly opened fire at a shebeen in Soweto.

Johannesburg police say the man requested a song to be played.

After the song was played, he fired five shots with a 9mm pistol before his ammunition ran out.

Patrons managed to restrain him and alerted police of the incident.
