The deadline for the annual Grand West Blisters for Bread Walk, in aid of the Peninsula Schools Feeding Scheme (PSFA), is Thursday August 15. The event will take place at the Green Point Cricket Club on Sunday August 29. The entry fee of R30 is for the 5km, 10km or 20km walk. The Afrikaans Language Museum and Monument in Paarl has launched a survey to find out how many other language monuments exist in South Africa.
