Lusanda Bill
1 June 2011
The case against two men accused of murdering Swedish bride Anni Dewani has been postponed to later this month.
Mziwamadoda Qwabe appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court in Cape Town alone. Xolile Mngeni’s lawyer explained that his client was ill.
It is understood that Mngeni is being treated in Pollsmoor Prison’s hospital wing after complaining of intense headaches and flu.
The National Prosecuting Authority is still trying to extradite Anni’s husband Shrien from Britain, as they suspect that he had paid the men to murder Anni in Gugulethu last year.
