Unions at the SABC are threatening industrial action after salary negotiations reached a deadlock.
The three unions at the corporation, Bemawu, the Communications Workers’ Union and Mwasa, are demanding a 10-and-a-half-percent increase.
The SABC is offering seven-point-naught-seven-percent. The unions accuse the broadcaster of negotiating in bad faith.
They say if the SABC does not improve on its offer, CCMA lawsuit and a strike are possible.
