The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa is dismayed and shocked by the conduct of the Gauteng Department of Health’s going public void of the truth claiming that the students of Chris Hani Baragwanath nursing college abandoned the meeting that was scheduled for last week.

However the truth is that the MEC Mr. Hope Papo and HOD Mr. Ndoda Biyela are the ones whom chose not to honour the meeting scheduled in their own turf, provincial headquarters.

DENOSA’s Bongane Qankase said as a union they are disappointed at the MEC for health Mr Papo for going on national television and indicate that the students are picking fights, when in fact they are not they are just talking about the victimisation and   abuse they are enduring under the three head of departments.

Furthermore Qankuse said that these HOD’s are responsible for terminating almost ninety percent of the students that has enrolled for the course at the college.
