ECape man stabbed to death in open field

A man was stabbed to death in the Bhunga Village near Willowvale, Eastern Cape police said on Saturday.

Captain Jackson Manatha said an elderly woman who had gone to gather wood, discovered the man bleeding heavily in an open area on Friday.

Manatha said that when the woman saw the man lying and bleeding, and alerted community members.

“He unfortunately died while he was waiting to be fetched by an ambulance” Manatha said.

The man has not been named as his next o kin are yet to be notified of his death.
