Spokesperson Robert Daniels said the hiker left the Danie Miller hiking trail
he was following and suffered a severe fall breaking several bones and
sustaining head injuries which caused his death.

Authorities on Sunday found the body of a 55-year-old hiker in the Hottentots Holland Mountains
The hiker was reported missing on
Friday evening but went missing on Wednesday and was found two days after her
disappearance.
Daniels said hikers are requested to
please remain on the designated hiking trails at all times.
