A woman arrested for cultivating dagga

A 45-year-old woman was on Sunday
arrested for cultivating dagga in the Bergville area and appeared in court on
Monday on charges of cultivating dagga.

Captain Thulani Zwane said the police were patrolling in the area of Bergville in
the Northern KwaZulu Natal when they saw a plantation in the nearby homestead.
Zwane added they went inside the homestead and discovered the dagga plantation to a street value of more than R500 000.
He also said she was released on
warning and come back on the 24th February.
