Six people shot in Atlantis

Western Cape Emergency Services Authorities said one unidentified gunman opened fire on six men leaving one dead in Atlantis on Tuesday. The victims are all in their twenties. 

Provincial EMS Spokesperson Robert Daniels said the incident took place in Datura Street, Avondale, Atlantis and appears to be gang related.

“Two of the men were seriously wounded and rushed to New Somerset Hospital while the other three were taken to Wesfleur Hospital.” Daniels added.

Provincial police are investigating the shooting.
