Two alleged drug dealers were arrested this past Friday in East London, after a Duncan Village school reported and handed over five children, which were caught smoking dagga on the school premises.

“Police took the children aged between 12 and 16 in for questioning at the police station,” says Captain Stephen Marais.

Information the children gave them led to the arrest of two men who were selling drugs to the learners.

The men both in their early 30’s were arrested in possession of about R 500 to R 700 worth of dagga.

They will appear in East London Magistrate’s court on Monday on drug dealing charges the children were released after being questioned.

“The school has to deal with them further,” says Marais.

The parents were informed about their children’s involvement.
