On Sunday evening a Bonteheuwel resident (31) was arrested for murder. It is alleged that the suspect stabbed a fellow community member with a knife.
Sergeant November Filander from the Bishop Lavis Police department says that the suspect is expected to appear in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate’s court tomorrow on a charge of murder.
“An argument ensued between the deceased and the suspect during which he pulled out a knife and stabbed the deceased in the left side of his neck,” said Filander.
“The deceased was taken to a hospital in Bonteheuwel where he was declared dead on arrival.”
