The United Kingdom’s most senior policeman is set to visit Cape Town tomorrow to brief about the security measures for the upcoming 2010 World Cup in Green Point Stadium.
Britain’s most Senior Policeman Sir Paul Stephenson who is the commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Services will be accompanied by senior diplomats and police.
Nick Whiteley from the Communications Department said as Britain will be hosting the next Olympic Games, the police commissioner has come to see what security measures and safety measures were used.
“They might have something to learn from us and take back to the UK before the Olympic games”
