South Cape police have arrested a 24 year old man after the body of his girlfriend was found on church grounds in De Rust near Oudtshoorn yesterday.
Police reported that the suspect allegedly took his girlfriend 24 year old girlfriend, Delia Opperman, to the church premises, where an argument ensued.
The man allegedly hit the woman in the face causing her to lose conciousness.he then took two stones and threw them at her.
Her body was later found by a passer-by who alerted police. The suspect was arrested after police received information from the local community.
