The City of Cape Town water and sanitation department will run a week long programme that will help educate the public on saving water.
The water and sanitation department has encouraged residents to take part in the long week programme by participating in events.
The areas which usually have high water consumption are Macassar, Kleinvlei, Delft, Wesbank, Retreat, Lower Crossroads and Witsands.
15 schools and more than 1 700 pupils and teachers will take part in lectures and site visits.
