NSRI Witsand were called out following reports of a boat that capsized off "the bar" in the Breede River Mouth over the weekend.

The three crew members were then later picked up by a passing boat, said NSRI spokesperson Craig Lambinon

“All three are safe, their boat capsized while exiting the Breede River Mouth while heading out to sea,” said Lambinon

All three are residents of Swellendam.

“They were all brought safely to shore with no injuries and their boat was later recovered,” said Lambinon
