One person was killed and another person was injured when a tractor crashed on a farm in the Paarl area yesterday evening.
It is alleged that the driver of the tractor lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
ER2’s Tristan Wadeley says a male around the age of thirty six, was declared dead on arrival by ER24 paramedics, there were conflicting reports from bystanders on the scene to paramedics as to how the deceased was involved in the accident.
The driver of the tractor got ejected from the vehicle and sustained suspected fractures of the left arm and right lower leg, he was transported by ER24 ambulance to Paarl Medi-Clinic,says Wadeley.
“Police arrived on the scene and will be investigating the accident.”
