Labour union Numsa says Eskom workers may adopt what it calls radical measures that could include a black-out if their demands are not met.
Numsa says this follows protracted wage and conditions of employment negotiations with management over the past couple of months.
The union is demanding an increase of 14 percent, but Eskom has only offered eight percent.
Numsa says workers do not want to go as far as a black-out, but Eskom is pushing them in that direction.
