Mitchell’s Plain police are investigating the death of a man believed to have been murdered after being heard by a so-called kangaroo court.
The deceased, believed to be between 19 and 25 years old, was covered in lacerations.
He was dressed in a striped golf shirt. Pyjama pants were found near him.
Meanwhile Eastern Cape police are investigating the murder of a 62 year old man who was beaten to death near Butterworth, after he allegedly stole a sheep.
According to Newsflash News Agency, police said the community questioned him about the sheep and then assaulted him.
His body was then loaded onto a wheelbarrow and dumped at his home.
No arrests have been made as yet.
