The body of the mother of the eight-month old girl and her four year old sister who were found dead in their house in Theresa Park has been found.
Thifhelimbilu Mashau’s body was found in a field near Soshanguve by a passer-by partially clothed on Sunday.
Police say that 28-year-old Mashua might have known her attackers.
A search for Mashua started on Friday after a friend discovered the two bodies of her two girls in their house.
There was no sign of forced entry in the property but Mashua’s car was missing.
Her body was found stabbed in the neck and in the ear. Police say they are still checking if she has been sexually assaulted.
