President Jacob Zuma says the Democratic Alliance is daydreaming if it thinks it will take Johannesburg and Pretoria off the ANC in next week’s local government election. Zuma surprised commuters at Johannesburg’s Park Station by campaigning for the ANC this morning.
He says the only question is with what majority the ruling party will win the election across the country.
DA leader Helen Zille concentrated on the Eastern Cape today, criticising the provincial government’s wasting of money and failure to provide housing.
During campaigning in Walmer, Port Elizabeth, Zille said the province recorded the highest level of irregular expenditure in the past financial year amounting to two-point-seven-billion-Rands.
