Former Bafana Bafana player Bryce Moon pleaded not guilty to all charges against him in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court this morning.

Moon faces several charges, including murder and attempted murder,
following a car crash in Sandton in 2009, in which domestic worker Mavis Ncube was killed.

It is alleged that Moon was drunk at the time. He had been on his way home from a party to celebrate the national soccer team's performance in the Confederations Cup.

The state has since called its first witness to the stand Sithembiso Mpungose, who was one of the first people to arrive at the scene of the accident in June 2009.

Mpungose told the court he was called out to a house-robbery and was travelling on Katherine Street when he saw a silver-grey Mercedes-Benz playing loud music and having loud noise.
