Lusanda Bill
04 July 2011
The Democratic Alliance wants President Jacob Zuma to urgently indicate how his administration will correct the failure of its land reform policy.
The opposition party says it is “deeply concerned” by reports that a farm between Qwaqwa and Harrismith in the Free State was illegally occupied last week.
The farm was occupied by a group alleging that ANC Youth League president Julius Malema had given them permission to claim the land.
DA parliamentary leader Athol Trollip says it is not sufficient for Zuma to simply state that land grabs are not ANC policy.
