African Christian Democratic Party leader Kenneth Meshoe has joined the ANC in criticising the ANC Youth League’s threats to force a regime change in Botswana.

Meshoe says the senior ANC should now ensure that the threats do not take effect.

Meshoe encourages the Youth League to assist President Ian Khama, his government and the Botswana Democratic Party, just as they are doing with their comrades in Zimbabwe, President Robert Mugabe and Zanu-PF.

He added by saying let us swallow our pride as South Africans and learn from Botswana that is much more peaceful, democratic, patriotic and much safer than our country.
