Free State police have arrested two suspects at an informal settlement after the body of a Reitz farmer was found buried in a shallow grave on his farm.
The victim’s son raised the alarm when a stranger answered the phone at his parent’s home. Police found two women tied up in the house.
A search of the yard led to the discovery of the farmers’ body. The two women were rushed to the Bethlehem Hospital. One of the suspects had worked on the farm a few days ago.
